Network Engineer gets fed up with router......

This network outage notification actually came through from our NOC yesterday:

Outage_Reason: Telco Maintenance

Additional_Info: The telco on this circuit has requested a window to conduct maintenance to repair gunshot damage. Due to redundancy there should be no actual outage, but latency may be seen during switch hits.

WTF did a network guy get so fed up with a router that he just shot it?
